Avengers 4 poster – Captain Marvel faces Thanos in fan art | Films | Entertainment

Marvel enthusiasts have been mocking up poster designs for the as-yet-untitled movie for a while now – and this one even has the approval of Brie Larson.

The star retweeted the design, which puts Captain Marvel centre stage and has had 20,000 likes on Twitter.

The title of the movie is fashioned into the phrase “AVENGE US”, with Larson’s Carol Danvers seen facing up to a towering Thanos (Josh Brolin), still with the Infinity Stones.

The design comes courtesy of BossLogic, a popular artist with over 100,000 followers on Twitter and 709,000 on Instagram.

Avengers 4 will mark Larson’s first appearance in the “present day”, with her 1990s-set solo movie arriving in cinemas slightly earlier.

Captain Marvel, the movie that will formally introduce cinemagoers to Carol Danvers, is out next March and recently finished filming.

Avengers 4, the official title of which is still unknown, is currently being edited.

“We’re just starting the edit,” Marvel boss Kevin Feige told Birth Movies Death.

“The [Russo] brothers have worked on their cut, and we’ve been together in the editing room for a couple weeks now, so it’s very early days.

“But it’s much earlier than usual, right? Usually we’re still filming.

“Captain Marvel comes out in March, while this one comes out in May and we’re already starting.”

He explained: “It’s fun to get a jump, it’s good having already shot the majority of the movie.

“So we’re just getting into our traditional editorial process now.”

Avengers 4 is out on April 26, 2019.
