Incredibles 2 picks up in the exact moments the first Incredibles movie ended.

Until Disney’s streaming site becomes live, however, Incredibles 2 could wind up on platforms like Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Now TV.
Is Incredibles 2 out in the cinema in the UK and US?
Fans in the UK are still waiting for Incredibles 2 to land in cinemas – they’ll have to wait a few more weeks.
UK cinemas get the Parr family movie on July 13, 2018.
However, fans in the UK will have probably seen spoilers, reviews, and theories for the sequel given Incredibles 2 debuted in America on June 15, nearly a month before the UK.
Originally scheduled for release on June 21, 2019, Incredibles 2 was brought forward by nearly a year to its June date.
The date change was made to avoid conflict with the long-awaited Toy Story 4.
The sequel will be released in IMAX and IMAX 3D, with fans expecting the light-hearted, cartoonish charm to shine through after such a long wait from the first film.
The official plot synopsis reads: “Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of ‘normal’ life.
“It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers.
When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.”
The 2004 Incredibles movie was released to fanfare, instantly becoming one of Pixar’s biggest successes.
Incredibles 2 picks up with the Parr family still coming to grips with being superheroes.
While the first movie featured the Parr family saving the world from Syndrome, the villain, voiced by Jason Lee, Incredibles 2 focusses on Elastigirl stepping onto centre stage to save not only all supers, but the world.
Incredibles 2 is in UK cinemas Friday, July 13, 2018.
