She’s the original Dancing Queen and stole the show in the box office smash Mamma Mia sequel.

The US star has wasted no time in releasing an album inspired by her time in the movie, where she memorably sings Fernando.

The movie is still riding high at the global box office and Cher looks set for yet another UK chart-topper.

The office release date and track listing were revealed today.

The album will hit shops and digital platforms on September 28.

For fans who can’t wait there is a bonus treat. If you pre-order the new album now you will immediately receive Cher’s rendition of the classic ABBA disco smash Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)’.

Cher has spoken about her love for ABBA and inspiation for the new album: “I’ve always liked Abba and saw the original Mamma Mia musical on Broadway three times. After filming Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, I was reminded again of what great and timeless songs they wrote and started thinking, ‘Why not do an album of their music?'”

She added: “The songs were harder to sing than I imagined but I’m so happy with how the music came out.

“I’m really excited for people to hear it. It’s a perfect time.”

Cher’s fans will also be excited to know that the album has been produced by the superstar’s long-term team, who were also behind the global hit dance album Believe.
