Meghan Markle news: Duchess opts for modest Givenchy dress with Queen | Style | Life & Style

Meghan Markle, 36, wore a cream dress to accompany Queen Elizabeth II, 92, on a visit to Cheshire.

The pair emerged from an overnight train journey this morning, walking out on to the platform at Runcorn station.

Meghan, who was given the title of Duchess of Sussex upon her marriage to Prince Harry, 33, opted for a modest outfit.

The newest member of the royal family looked stunning in the tight cream belted dress by Givenchy.

Meghan’s wedding dress was also designed by Givenchy, and the pale colour of her dress today is a throwback to the white gown.

The slim Duchess showed off her lean figure in the fitted outfit.

The bottom of the dress had a pencil skirt style which added length to her frame.

Her slim waist was highlighted with a slim belt fastened tightly around her torso.

It was balanced by the top of the dress which had a structured cape style.

She paired the look with towering black stiletto heels and a black clutch bag.

She also appeared to be wearing royal appropriate clear tights today – a rule the Queen reportedly has for royal women.

Meghan’s hair was worn down and in loose waves, falling over her shoulders.

Her trademark messy bun was nowhere to be seen – clearly she favoured a more polished style beside Queen Elizabeth.

The former actress appeared relaxed and calm as she exited the famous Royal Train.

She wore little makeup, but sported a deep tan which looked radiant against her pale dress. Her nails were painted in nude – the only nail colour royal women are allowed.
