Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33, were married last month at Windsor Castle, watched by millions all around the world.

Despite the openness of their wedding, the couple have managed to keep one detail a secret, the location of their honeymoon.

There have been many speculations as to where to couple went away, and if they’ve even been away yet at all.

Rumours also circulated that the couple were putting their honeymoon off until later int he year, after royal engagements.

However, Prince Harry dropped a huge honeymoon hint, at the Queen’s Young Leader award ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still keen on keeping the details of their honeymoon a secret, with Harry refusing to give details to a young philanthropist who asked.

Mavis Elias from Namibia asked Harry is he’d honeymooned in her home country, with Harry telling her: “No, we didn’t go to Namibia.”

Gesturing to the nearby press, Harry then went onto tease the award-winner, saying: “I’m not going to say where…”

Namibia, and other countries in Africa, where speculated to be the location of the newlywed’s honeymoon, with Harry putting the rumours to bed.

The continent holds a special place in Meghan and Harry’s hearts, having visited Botswana together when they began dating, and being home to Harry’s charity, Sentebale.

Namibia was also tipped as by the bookies as the royal couple’s honeymoon destination.

During the Tuesday evening event, the Sussexes also revealed another clue as to where they hope to visit, when speaking to charitable entrepreneur Priscilla Ruzibuka from Rwanda.

The trio reportedly talked about their love for Rwanda, with Priscilla revealing the couple “said they are looking forward to visiting Rwanda one day.”

Meghan and Harry broke with tradition and didn’t embark on their holiday straight away after their wedding.

Instead they waited until after their first royal engagement, Prince Charles’ 70th birthday garden party at Buckingham Palace.

Another location rumoured for the couple’s honeymoon was Alberta, Canada.

Celebrity new outlet TMZ reported in May that the two were planning the Fairmont-owned Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta as the destination for their honeymoon.

Costing a staggering $7000 a night, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge’s website promises a “supreme” experience and says it is the perfect place to “celebrate a special occasion”.

Ireland was another destination reported to have been visited for the couple’s honeymoon, yet nothing has been confirmed.

Quickly adjusting to royal life, Meghan Markle looked effortlessly elegant at the Queen’s Leader Awards wearing a pale pink Prada dress.
