Princess Eugenie, 28, is set to marry her partner Jack Brooksbank, 33, in October.

The daughter of Prince Andrew, 58, the Queen’s middle son, will have the wedding in the same location as Prince Harry, 33, and Meghan Markle, 36, St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

Since the announcement of her engagement Eugenie has been taking to her royal role and documenting it on social media.

She recently posted an image of herself at Carnaby Street revealing her new ambassadorship of a sustainability project on Instagram.

Another image posted recently has revealed the inner sanctum of her grandmother’s private London residence inside Buckingham Palace.

The royal, who has a job at an art gallery, posted an image of her father at the Trooping the Colour, this weekend.

The image shows the Duke of York standing proudly in a Buckingham Palace corridor.

Eugenie wrote: “A wonderful and proud day celebrating Her Majesty’s birthday and @hrhthedukeofyork for his first Trooping the Colour as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards. #troopingthecolour”

Twitter users piled in with comments on the photos.

One wrote: “Beautiful picture congratulations Andrew.”

Anther said, “Congrats wonderful accomplishment to the Duke of York” and one more commented, “WoW! What a palace.”

The photo was taken in a part of the palace usually private and reserved just for the royals.

However, this part of the private quarters is just as lavish as those open to the public.

The walls are painted duck egg blue with a red carpet and busts and paintings lining the hallway.

The Duke of York was appointed Colonel of the Grenadier Guards in December 2017.

Andrew took over his father’s role at the head of the regiment, which has existed since 1656.

Prince Andrew served with the Royal Navy for 22 years.

The Trooping the Colour, the official celebration of the QUeen’s birthday, was his first opportunity to fulfil the role publicly.

His former wife Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, was missing from the celebrations.

However, Fergie stepped out last night looking dazzling in a black evening gown at the Royal Albert Hall.
