The Spice Girls have just announced a new Manchester date announced for 31 May.

A new London date has also been added for Wembley Stadium on 14 June.

The tour comes after years of speculation, and after a tense period where Melanie C was adamant she would not participate if Beckham wasn’t there.

“Reminiscing with the girls about how much fun we had made me feel like it was the right time to do it all over again,” she said in a statement.

Meanwhile Emma wrote: “It’s time to spice things up all over again!!!!! I can’t wait to perform to our forever supporting fans and a whole new spice generation! Love you all!”

Mel B enthused: “I’ve said it sooo many times I’m beside myself it’s actually happening yipppeeee. I’m now properly screaming it from every rooftop – me and my girls will see you all on stage!!”

And Geri Horner wrote: “I am so excited, together we celebrate girl power with our fans and the next generation and everyone is welcome! Hold tight it’s gonna be fun xx”

Ticketmaster users are having some issues this morning, with some reporting to have been kicked out of the queue for tickets.

Ticketmaster took to Twitter to reassure fans saying: “Morning Spice fans! It’s a VERY busy morning and we’re selling tickets fast.
