UFC News – Conor McGregor claim from Tony Ferguson
Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has claimed he’d rather fight Khabib Nurmagomedov than lock horns with Conor McGregor.
“Obviously the one I prepared for the most,” Ferguson said when asked if he’d prefer to fight Nurmagomedov or McGregor.
“But, I mean, obviously if the money is right and Conor wants to fight, we’ll make it happen and obviously we’ll talk.”
Ferguson, 34, hasn’t fought since claiming the interim 155lbs title in the main event of UFC 216, where he defeated Kevin Lee via a third-round submission.
UFC News – Jon Jones taunts Daniel Cormier
Jon Jones has yet again dismissed the notion of Daniel Cormier being the greatest mixed martial artist of all time.
While commenting on an Instagram post from UFC president Dana White – which included a picture of Cormier sleeping and the caption, ‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’ – Jones said: “Come on Dana, you already know why.
“I salute him for winning the heavyweight title but the light-heavyweight title. Let’s be serious.”
UFC News – Colby Covington wants November showdown with Tyron Woodley
Colby Covington is hopeful his welterweight title unification bout with Tyron Woodley will take place at UFC 230, which will be held at Madison Square Garden on November 3.
“I’m pushing for Madison Square Garden,” the interim UFC lightweight champion said during an appearance on BJ Penn Radio. “So, make sure you tell Woodley, Madison Square Garden.
“I would tell him on social media, but he lives in his little safe space. He blocked me on all the social media, on Instagram and Twitter, so I can’t get at him and tell him Madison Square Garden.
“He’s acting hard out there saying, ‘Oh, I’m gonna do this to Colby. I’m gonna do that.’ But that’s all talk, man. Why are you blocking me?”
